I recently started a project on creating real My Little Ponies out of horse stock. So far I have a completed Minty (will be posted later) and a half-way done Royal Bouquet.

For those of you who don't know, I collect MLPs and am absolutely in love with them. This project seems to be the perfect stress reliever and a way to practice my photo manipulation [:

This is still technically a part of the MP (manipulation project), but will not be listed as so under the titles. Updates to come!

Anyway, summer is boring, but I still love all the sleep I'm getting.

The best con this side of the US is next weekend! I'm so excited! Last year I was Dei-kun from Naruto, my webcam picture is of my cosplay [:

This year I have much more planned! Friday I am going to be Dei-kun once more but Saturday I'm bringing out my new Lacus Clyne from Gundam SEED costume, with my beautiful pink wig [link]

is rooming with me again, and this time our mutual friend Leland is coming as well as his friend Tim who neither Levi or me have met. But who cares? AZ is always about meeting new people.

Another reason I can't wait...I have much more money to blow this year! Last year I spent a little over two hundred on a plethora of things: pictures, plushies, manga, buttons.....[pocky] And at Nashicon a month or so ago I bought my first figurines (three Lacus Clynes which were absolutely adorable) and I'm excited about buying more. Last year there was a wood carver who's work was absolutely gorgeous. She had a carving of Loveless (the cover of volume one I believe) and it was absolutely amazing. I could not afford it, however, as it was a bit over two hundred and by that point I only had a hundred left. This year though, this year I am going prepared!

I will take a thousand more pictures and promise not to starve myself and my husband like last year because we totally did not plan well. The whole weekend we had a few bits of sugar cookies from our roommate. They were delicious, of course, but we were still....so so hungry.

In other news. I need to create a separate account for my icons, they're clogging up my gallery. And the next time you see me expect con photos!

Is hopefully over. Two or three new MPs involving eyes will be posted in a few days, I left my flash drive in graphics and it holds the files. All work is now done on the glorious school macs with kickass Photoshop CS (I believe it is CS, I should double check)

New poem up, may add a scrap graphics project later it is a recreation of a Discover magazine cover, current project is recreation of a Nike ad which should be pretty awesome. I have a new collage I need to make a negative of once the time comes, the fancy machine that does it (what is it called?) is currently inoperable and the dark room is unused for the time being. Hopefully we'll go back into collage making after BA is over his obsession with recreating magazines (though I must say I do enjoy it as I have the best Photoshop skills in the class and he enjoys watching me work)

We just got a tablet too, it is so much fun. No one else in the class is interested in it so I get it all to myself. It makes things so much easier (once I got used to it at first, it is not as easy as it looks). It is why I've been able to further my photo-manipulation project into three more pieces. It has also put me back into the photo editing market which I am happy of because my programs here are not sufficient enough to make me produce the work I wish to produce.

In other new I partied too hard last night and keep vomiting blue. Cyanemesis is rather entertaining, you wouldn't think so but it is. Also saw Watchmen, a masterpiece. Best movie of '09 thus far.

Apparently dA does not accept real-life photography of SI. The reason is not stated, though I am thoroughly annoyed. That piece was very special to me and I thought it had a worthy message. I suppose slapping mature onto a controversial picture isn't enough anymore.
